CHEER FOR CHARITY
Dear Coaches, Volunteers, Spectators, and Sponsors:
In February, Tri-State CheerNastics hosted the fifth annual Cheer for Charity event, which benefited the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. This competition was held at the Bob Carpenter Center at the University of Delaware and was a wonderful success. Throughout the day a duel panel judging team critiqued over 160 cheerleading teams, including middle schools, high schools, rec leagues and all-stars. Maintaining a tight schedule with this many teams is no small feat on it's own and because of our dedicated staff we were able to run through the day without delay.
During the day Tri-State CheerNastics was able to raise over $25,000 for the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). Only with the help of our dedicated staff, volunteers and the donation of equipment and professional services were we able to make such a huge contribution and impact the quality of life for local children. Our sixth annual Cheer for Charity will be held on February 19th & 20th, 2011 at the University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center and we hope it will be as successful.
